Laura and I were strangers 18 months ago. Today, I
consider her a sister – an energetic and soul sister. Laura
has huge energy. Her big laugh and bounding joy light
up any room. She is magnetic and her connection to her
light is matched by her connection to her shadow. We
see each other. Mirrors of both our joy and pain. This is
what connected us on a much deeper level. It takes a
tremendous amount of courage to do transformational
work. It requires deconstructing beliefs so that new ones
can be created. It means facing fears and looking into the
shadows. I did not have to do this work alone. I have the
gift of a community that holds space for me with love
and compassion. I have the gift of doing this work with
Laura. Laura’s courage, hope, and love are inspiring.
Her presence is an experience of being held and adored
for who I am. No judgment, no shame, no shoulds. Laura
creates a space for transformation. A space for love,
laughter, tears, and deep connection. A space to be seen
and known. I love you Laura, my sister, my friend!
